WHY ONE SHOULD BUY A HENRY
Since its launch in 1980 Numatic's Henry vacuum cleaner, easily distinguishable by the large smiling face on the front of the canister, is fast becoming one of the most popular vacuum cleaners in the world. Housewives as well as office and building cleaners are all very excited about this little ‘man' because of its many benefits and excellent features. Its been praised for its efficiency, practicality and durability as well as its lightness and easy handling.

WHERE THE HENRY VACUMM CLEANER CAME FROM
The Numatic Company was founded ...
... in Somerset at the end of the 60's. The company originally designed a commercial vacuum cleaning oil and coal fired boilers. This was obviously a very messy job for any cleaner to handle, thus explaining where the Numatic Henry Vacuum cleaner got its touch roots. Their first commercial product was Henry's predecessor, the NVR2, a steel vacuum cleaner and built about 33 years ago. Numatic are very proud that the majority of NVR2's are still in working order and the company also supplies spare parts for all its vacuum cleaners from the NVR2 right up to the present day Numatic Henry vacuum cleaner, the HVR2200.

Since the introduction of Henry, over 7 million have been produced worldwide. These vacuum cleaners have a reputation for being hard-wearing, reliable and effective, and can often be seen in service in commercial applications in schools, shops, offices and so on.

ABOUT HENRY'S TECHNICAL BACKGROUND
Henry has been constantly updated and improved since his launch, originally having an 800-watt motor, then 900 watts, 1000 watts, 1100 watts and most recently the 1200-watt Twinflo unit, and most models are now available in various colours, usually blue, yellow or green as well as the original red.

In June 2006, Numatic re-designed Henry. It now has 2 'rocker' type switches, recessed near the back at the top. These switches are the On/Off switch, and the Twinflo controls, enabling the motor to be turned down or up, depending on the task in hand. The rear exhaust has been redesigned as well, with one central exhaust port at the back, rather than 2 vents at the sides. The 360 degree bumper has been changed from plastic to rubber, to stop damage to walls and doors during operation.

In Mid 2009, Numatic Re-designed the Henry again, This time one of the rocker switches became a switch that when the unit powers on automatically starts in the eco mode and for more power you flick the switch. Once the unit turns off again the machine defaults back to eco mode. The Henry hoover bags have also changed from paper to a thin cloth texture which are called Hepa-Flo these bags are better for filtration and look better. The 10-metre cable storage and rewind system is a work of art, trouble free and spring free, and it keeps everything neat and tidy. The giant filter system makes sure that what goes in stays in, and the highly efficient Hepaflo dust bags improve filtration efficiency, cleanliness and capacity.
