It takes the modern woman to call up the modern man If this was done in the Victorian days, the lady's status would have been shredded and she would never have been in a position to get out to society and show her face again. she would then be unwelcome everywhere. are things different today? Should women call the men, could they?

This question would imply that women have no right calling up men and would have most girls nowadays get all riled up. Modern women can call up men anytime they want and not have to fret about being shunned by society. But that does not really address the inquiry, now does it? and what do the men think? How would they act in response to women calling them? is it normal for them or do they get in a macho rant and claim that they should do the calling? it take an extremely special man to not mind being called as a lot of men still want to hold exclusive rights to calling women on the phone. It is a male thing and women who call men try to to jump in the role of the men. although women claim to complete the calling as some men take a long time to call they usually wouldn't have all the time on ...
... earth to wait! As for the lads who don't see any problems with women calling them, then they would probably feel flattered.

Men who cannot handle a woman calling them may not last with a woman who has a strong take charge attitude and the realtionship would have been doomed. but if the man doesn't call and the woman doesn't call, then you both could have missed the possibility at a great thing? So, should the woman call the man? The answer is easy: if you want to call, call the man, if you don't then don't - but not calling would not at all expose if there is a potential rapport there between the two of you. Note that some men, ironically, are shier than most women. just get that phone and call!
