Based on the study of researchers from the Center for Disease Control, stress causes 80 to 90% of all human diseases. The continuous interplay of the outside factors and the individual has great influence on his or her well-being. This interaction may cause stress which has far-reaching consequences and may cause harmful effects to health.

Stress can negatively affect people's lives. Most people who are under stress have difficulty performing their day-to-day activities. Stress depletes their energy, thus gravely affecting their way of life. When one reaches maximum stress levels, exhaustion takes place, and the stress manifests itself as certain illnesses.

Modern day life is filled with stress that affects a person's total well-being. Stress can cause various diseases and medical conditions such as anxiety disorders, high blood pressure, depression, ulcers, cardiovascular diseases and more. If stress is not successfully resisted by the body, it can cause long-term damage to the immune system. When that happens, bodily functions may be impaired which can prevent an individual from performing his or her activities.

Since ...
... stress is inevitable, some people have come up with various ways to fight it off. One of these is through prayer or meditation, which can help deflect the effects of stress. Thetahealing, an alternative healing method which also uses meditation, can provide an individual the tranquility he or she needs. It can send a person to a relaxed state which can help revitalize his or her senses.

Some people have pushed meditation to a higher level and introduced healing techniques using the power of the mind. Thetahealing, for example, believes in the capacity of the body to heal itself. This technique emphasizes on the power of the mind to heal by influencing the body's anatomical elements.

The healing method of Thetahealing, however, is a series of processes that require dedication. Before healing can take place, the interaction between the body and human thought needs to reach the stage where they can harmonize with the Divine Being. It takes years of practice before one can master the technique of Thetahealing. However, believing that your body has the capacity to heal and cure itself is a very good start.
