Why Preschool Education Is A Necessity?
The dictionary definition of a preschool says that it is an educational institution for toddlers who are too young to join elementary schools.
For complete growth and all round development of a child, preschool education is very important. Preschool is important for children between the age group of two to five years. During these initial years of life the development process of the brain is very rapid and therefore this stage is considered to be the most appropriate stage to start a child's basic education. At this stage the child is ready to learn and grasp whatever is taught to him. But his brain muscles at this point of time are developed to accommodate only simple and easy facts. Thus pre schools focus mainly on the basic education of the children.
Such pre schools can be found all over the country. Such schools are the best option for parents who are busy with their jobs and find it difficult to give required amount of time to their children. They can completely rely on such institutions as they are created and developed by professional educators. They structure everything whether it is the administration, ...
... class size, or curriculum. They also try to create an environment where a child can feel safe and also can learn the most basic and essential concepts of life. They provide the children with a very safe and warm homely environment. The child constantly interacts with other children thus learns things more rapidly.
At pre schools they get the most basic lessons of life. The schools conduct various activities and games for children for eg.scribbling, role enacting, playing with blocks, etc., and therefore helping them learn things in a very practical and easy way. The basic areas which these schools take care of are-personal, social, economical, emotional development, knowledge and understanding of the world, Mathematical awareness and development, Physical development etc.
The schools also help the child overcome the separation anxiety. Gradually the child learns to adjust himself to the environment of the school with other children. Because of which the child's communication skills also start developing.
These schools also conduct various activities for developing the creative abilities of the child which help him in the long run. Also the child improves his basic self help qualities like his eating habits, cleanliness, etc.pre schools prepare the child for his higher education.
