Online fax services are plentiful on the internet. Companies seeking to secure an online fax service will find numerous services in a variety of price ranges. Business owners may pay for the services by the fax or by the month. Online fax services range in cost from $6.95 to $30. Businesses may select from a wide variety of fax services available online.

Online fax services are gaining popularity over traditional fax services. Companies incur expenses from the fax equipment, equipment maintenance, fax paper and fax toner. When faxes are sent online, there are no costs aside from the monthly fee. Since most documents are electronic, many businesses reduce their paper and toner expenses because documents do not have to be printed before faxing online.

The wait time for faxing is also reduced because the online hosting company will make attempts until the fax reaches the recipient. Online faxing is a great service for individuals who travel often. A portable scanner, a web browser and an internet connection is all that is needed to fax while traveling on business.

Business owners should use online fax services ...
... to save time, money and resources. Several are listed below to help business owner select an appropriate service.

eFax

eFax provides customers with reliable online fax services. After a free 30 day trial, consumers may pay a monthly fee between $16 and $14 per month. Premium eFax subscriptions will offer consumers nearly 130 free incoming faxes and 30 free outgoing faxes per month. Consumers will be charged a fee for any faxes over the alloted amount. The fee is typically between $0.15 and $0.10 per fax. Up to five users may be added to one eFax account. This is an ideal service for small businesses that use fax services infrequently.

RapidFax

RapidFax also offers customers a free 30 day trial with their subscription. With a subscription, users may receive 300 incoming and outgoing faxes monthly. A flat fee is charged per page after the monthly allotment is exhausted. Customers may also store received faxes for up to 30 days after the receipt of the documents. This particular RapidFax service has excellent customer service that is available Monday through Friday.

MetroFax

MetroFax costs approximately $12.95 per month. This particular service offers 1000 incoming and outgoing faxes and 30 days of complimentary fax storage. After the initial 1000 combined total faxes, the outgoing faxes are $0.03 per page. While this company does not offer a free trial period, customers may receive a complimentary second month of service in some promotional offers. Some promotions allow customers to pay $9.95 for the introductory month as well.

Nextiva

A Nextiva customer may expect to pay $6.95 per month for an annual subscription. If an annual subscription is not purchased, consumers may expect to pay $9.95 per month. With this subscription, users may receive 500 incoming and outgoing faxes free. After the 500 pages are exhausted, consumers will be charged $0.03 per page. A complimentary 30 day trial period is offered to consumers, and they will receive six months of document storage absolutely free.

MyFax

MyFax will provide consumers online fax services without an initial start up fee. The primary subscription offers 500 incoming and outgoing faxes for a total of $10 monthly. Complimentary storage of fax documents will be provided for at one year. Up to five users may be on one account. Customer service will be available to answer calls 24 hours per day and seven days per week.
