There are many suppliers of the R4, this is a great add on for all of your DS consoles. With this little card you can store a lot of extras that will make your DS a whole lot more fun. You will be able to make the most out of your console and here is a breakdown of what the Carte R4 can do.

The DS, DSi and DS Lite are all fantastic, fun handheld consoles that can keep you entertained for hours. But with the R4 you can make your console even better. This tiny card is able to store a lot of information thanks for the slot in the top which holds a Micro SD card. You will need to buy the SD card separately, and you can choose how big a memory you wish to use.

The Carte R4 is able to adapt all the data you have on your SD card so you can use and freely access them via your DS console. This means that you can store all your music, movies, games, eBooks and loads of Homebrew freebies. When you visit one of the online stores you will be able to choose the correct card for your handheld console, and we also stock other accessories and games.

The R4 is popular simply because it means you can create backup copies ...
... of all your games, and only have to carry around the one card. Games are not cheap, so you can keep them safe at home as you go out with your DS. If you are a resident of the United Kingdom it is not illegal or against copyright laws to backup any games, videos or music that you have paid for.

The Carte R4 also opens up a whole lot of free and fully legal games and applications which you can download through the internet. Homebrew games are created by clever game designers who do not ask for any money for their creations. There are so many great titles to choose from.

All you have to do is decide which ones you want and download onto the Micro SD card. Then you simply pop the card in the back of your DS and turn it on. You will then have access to anything you have stored in the memory card. You can use your DS to read your eBooks, or as an MP3 player and even watch movies.

This is a fantastic add on for your console and can give you hours of all round entertainment on one console. Sellers do stress that they do not encourage or recommend that you use the R4 for any pirated material. It is illegal to do so; once you own the card it is up to you to use it legally and sensibly. Retailers are not responsible for your misuse of this item.

It is recommended to research the copyright laws about making backup copies of any games, music and videos that you own, if you are a customer from outside the United Kingdom.
