We take a look at the Best Three Theme Parks overseas, from Harry Potter to Fugi Q.

Everybody likes a day out at a theme park, even if the huge rides aren't your cup of tea, you are bound to like the fantastic restaurants or the magical characters that often roam the area. We take a look at three of the world's biggest and newest theme parks.

1) Harry Potter World. The theme park of all theme parks; this opened in july of 2010 and has already seen a huge influx of visitors. Although there are only three main rides, the attention to detail of this Park is what makes it exceptional. The most notable rollercoaster is The Forbidden Journey which takes you on an trip through the world of Harry Potter travelling by floo network and only just missing a dragon attack! If this isn't good enough there are also the many shops and restaurants (all Harry Potter themed) that are available to visitors. Honey Dukes sells your favourites magical sweets including both chocolate frogs and Berty Botts every flavour beans. Zonko's sells a variety of joke items and, of course, Sneakascopes, and finally the Three Broomsticks which serves ...
... food and the very famous Butterbear. So, for Harry Potter likers and loathers alike, this theme park promises to be a great day out for the whole family.

2) Now to a less well known, but still wonderful theme park: Fugi Q Highland. One of the most attractive theme parks in Japan and known for its thrill seeking rides. It is situated at the bottom of Mt. Fuji (hence the name!) and is very close to the Lake Kawaguchi. One of the rides, Eejanaika, has 14 inversions and reaches over 100 miles per hour; it is known to be one of the quickest roller coasters in the world and, understandably, attracts the bravest of the brave. It is also home to Fujiyama, one of the tallest roller coasters in the world, and this hits speeds of over 80mph. So, maybe not such a great idea for a family day out, but a trip to Fuji Q Highland promises not to be dull!

3) Our Final Theme Park to look out is, of course, the famous Disney World. Situated in Orlando, the leader of all theme parks contains a wide variety of rides, daily parades, water attractions, shops, and restaurants and even has a safari park attached. It is every Childs dream to meet the Disney characters and here they can, especially as the park has its very own magical castle that is shown before all Disney feature films. It well deserves its reputation as one of the best theme parks in the world and will continue to attract overseas guests for many years to come.
