Worse, some may even offer to pick up your check at home or at the office after giving a proposal for the reparation of your credit history. When people like these call you - most especially in the wee hours of night - hesitate talking to them.

State and federal governments have already passed laws to protect the public from these fraudulent call center telemarketers. However, security from these scams lies in your hands. So when you notice a suspicious tone in the voice on the other line, put down your phone - a polite goodbye is not needed.
