The HTC Desire Z was launched alongside its HD sibling at the manufactures London conference in September. They may be siblings, but they appear to be completely different, as Desire Z provides users with a full QWERTY keypad.

The keypad is unlike most others on the market, as rather than sliding-out, it is attached to a hinge, making it more sturdy and easy to use. The keys appear to be spaced apart and raised, which is sure to make messaging quick and easy. You are also provided with shortcut keys which you can customize to direct you to your favourite applications, which is unlike any other QWERTY currently available. Web browsing is expected to be quick, and the handset is equipped with Android WebKit browser, which is one of the most advanced on the market. Social networking integration and e-mail support is also included, alongside the option to push updates from Facebook and Twitter straight to your homescreen.

Other features include a built-in media player, FM radio and a 3.5mm audio jack for listening to your music while on the move. The handset comes with 1.5GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 32GB using a memory card.
