Ed Hardy Shirts Past And Present
Ed Hardy shirts are based on the original illustrations by Don Ed Hardy, a tattoo artist from California. We still maintain the sophistication, sense of experimentation and depth envisioned by Ed Hardy. Ed Hardy dived into the word of tattoos in 1967 after getting a B.F.A. degree in printmaking from the San Francisco Art Institute. He moved to Japan in 1970 and he returned in the 1980s.
His tattoos are being translated by our designer, Christian Audigier, and the different interpretations of these means that each design is unique. We have managed to stick to the original tattoo ideas and they include tattoos of such things as eagles, tigers, snakes, roses, mermaids, butterflies, peacocks, skulls, and beautiful women, among others. We got Audigier, a French designer, to do our Ed Hardy shirts because he had previous experience in street clothing and because he is well respected in the industry. Christian Audigier previously designed lines for different brands, including Diesel, Urban Outfitters, and Von Dutch.
We have also maintained the use of premium cotton in our shirts; cotton offers a comfortable and soft ...
... feel. These shirts are produced through Ku USA, Inc., a clothing manufacturer, with whom we signed a license agreement to manufacture the shirts in 2002. Over the years, several large companies have shown interest in manufacturing the shirts and these clothing lines include Crystal Rock, Chuck Boyd, SMET, C-Bar-A, and Paco Chicano.
We have managed to clothe some of the most famous celebrities in the world. These include Madonna, Snoop Dogg, Britney Spears, and Sylvester Stallone. We are proud that our shirts are worn by Madonna almost daily and that Britney Spears was recently filmed raiding one of our big California warehouses. However, we make Ed Hardy Shirts for everyone, not just celebrities. We have girls' shirts that go for as little as $62 and men's shirts that go for as little as $57.
So, why do we recommend our Ed Hardy shirts? Other than the fact that these shirts are readily available in boutiques and department stores, the shirts are relatively cheap. They are unique due to different interpretation of Ed Hardy Tattoos by Christian Audigier and they come in different styles. We recommend an Ed Hardy shirt because the shirts have brand recognition - you will get envious admiration if you wear the shirt. You can get Ed Hardy Jeans to go with your shirt. There are also several accessories such as belts that you can use to accompany your shirt and to get a truly stylish look.
