The 1st National Sports Collectors Convention was first held by some sports hobby enthusiasts in Los Angeles in 1970s.Nowadays, it is called the annual gathering. In order to appeal to a larger group of collectors and attract sports hobby enthusiasts from all over the world, the pioneers of The National decided that it should take place at an assortment of locations such as Detroit, Chicago, St. Louis, and the New York metro area.
The National Sports Collectors Convention has grown at a prestigious rate, becoming a titanic event that can only be held by a small number of venues in the country.
