South Africa has come away from the 2010 FIFA World Cup with rave reviews from most quarters after their successful holding of the event. Despite fears for the safety of the large influx of spectators to the country and infrastructure not being adequate for an event of this size, the event went off very smoothly with the majority of those who did travel to South Africa for the event having a great travel experience.
The local South African people were very friendly and the infrastructure was more than adequate to house and transport the many visitors to the country. ...
This will be very beneficial to the local South African tourism sector as well as the South Africa travel agent selling the region around the world. With this in mind it is important for prospective tourists looking to travel to such iconic destinations as Kruger National Park and the Okavango Delta to book early to ensure there is space available for their desired travel dates.
