When reading you may train your eyes to concentrate on just the section and words you are reading, try blurring out the rest of the paragraph and concentrate on just reading each sentence within the paragraph. By concentrating on each sentence individually your brain will be able to recognize smaller portions of the information instead of trying to read each sentence while getting distracted by the rest of the paragraph. You may also use a pointing device to run under the section you are reading. This allows your eyes to read the portion you have chosen at a steady pace, as you run the pointing device along the sentence.
