Christmas is the time for celebrations, festive lights, decorations, carols, sumptuous Christmas cakes and loads of fun. Christmas is celebrated all across the world and the best part is that the gaiety and the fervor remains same everywhere.
In India Christmas is celebrated not only by Christians but by people of other faiths as well. Shops, churches, streets and houses take on the festive air this season. It's also the time when people deck their homes with hanging lights, toys, flowers and most importantly Christmas tree.
People flood the markets to buy Christmas trees, tinsels, cookies, candies and gifts for their loved ones. In a nutshell, Christmas in India is celebrated by people from all walks of life and different religions. It's a time when everyone comes together and enjoys the festive ambience. Thus, it won't be wrong to say that the festival serves as a binding factor to foster brotherhood and humanity.
