You always get a thrill when you look down and see Pocket Aces. Of course aces are no guarantee, they get cracked sometimes, but I'd take them every time. So would most poker players. The main thing with aces is to remember, you only get them every 220 hands on average, so you'd want to maximize the opportunity by building a large pot. I see players go all-in with pocket aces, especially early on in poker tournaments, when there's not much more than the blinds in the pot, and most always just pick up the blinds, maybe plus a small bet or two, just a few poker chips. Then there are those who play them way too slow. If you leave many players in the pot your chances of getting cracked increase dramatically. Then try to maximize the pot on the times you get them by just keeping in a couple of players and build an early pot since they usually hold up after the flop.
