The Fred Perry branded sweatband was among the first products cleverly marketed by the player along with Tibby Wegner who, after a career in professional Austrian football, took to business and bounced off the idea with Fred Perry. The rest (as they say) is history, with the brand gaining rapid acceptance and popularity with the passing years.

Now Amy Winehouse, a long-time ardent fan of Fred Perry, has decided to contribute her creativity towards the brand by agreeing to come out with a 17-piece women's range for release in autumn.

The famous singer has always been a strong endorser of the brand through the various polo shirts she is regularly seen in. She has agreed to design four collections, with the first one focusing on jumper dresses as well as Harrington jackets. The polo shirts will also feature prominently in this collection

... celebrity who had worked with Evans for their plus-sized women's clothing. It is not only women but other male stars like Paul Weller, Damon Albarn and Terry Hasll who have also worked with the Fred Perry brand.

The female singing artiste has been busy with her designing assignments all along and agreed to contribute for the brand only if the brand agreed to include UK size 6 this time. This was because she felt she was too petite to fit into any of the other sizes that are currently in vogue.
