First impression

After switching it on, you'll be amazed by the clarity and sharp images of the menus on the screen. This so called Retina screen has an angle of 89 degrees and this is truly huge. Reading texts and watching movies and images is clearer than ever, your eyes are treated by a high standard of watchability. You think the iPhone 3 was sharp? Its successor goes through the roof.

The speed on your new toy is amazing. Lots of memory in combination with a 1Ghz processor equals immediate action after pushing a button or touching the screen. Even better, with 720 pixels you can call it unique. The flash is also of good quality but can result in overexposure. Just use it when you need it.

Obviously you can go online with the flick of your wrist. Thanks to the razor sharp screen your iPhone can easily compete with a regular pc. Though of course it's a bit smaller. Go to Apple's standard browser Safari with the 3G connection or where available Wi-Fi.

Multimedia to the max
The battery looks to be a bit better than its predecessor. But of course you still need to charge the device if you use it regularly. And you will use it regularly, promised. The media player is as good as your iPod, so give that one to a friend or sell it online. With 16GB of memory you can store loads of files and like your iPod you can organize and create your own favorite playlists. Texting is made easy with the key pad that complements the words you're typing, and like a chat conversation you'll see all the messages in the same screen. The same goes for your email, and installing your own account is very simple.

So what's the big deal?
Clearly you haven't paid attention. The looks, the power and the capacity of the iPhone 4 are amazing and worth the wait for sure. Without a doubt there never was a more detailed, clear, or viewable screen on any mobile phone. Yes, there were some complaints concerning reception in certain areas, depending on how you hold the phone.
