The answer to this question is yes, everyone requires seeing a safety training video because accidents are those unprecedented happenings which do not distinguish between people and are capable of causing severe damage which may be physical, emotional, financial, material or all of the above.

The origin of the word safety lies in the word 'sauf' in French which on being literally translated refers to a state which is free from any kind of disaster, damage or accident. It is true that most of us take our safety for granted unless something untoward happens to shatter our illusion of a safe world. Only then do we realize that we are surrounded by perils of every kind which may be physical, financial or social and may be present everywhere like in our homes, on the roads or even in our place of work.

Obviously, the question arises as to why should we wait for something like an accident to wake us up from a blissful sleep and take notice of reality which has been staring at us all along? Maybe a session watching a safety training video is the answer here as it would not only make us alert of all the various dangers ...
... lurking around us but also educate us about the various ways in which these hazards can be avoided, encountered or curtailed.

The concept of a safety training video is based on two facts namely that the visual message has a better impact on the audience as compared to a message which is read or simply spoken and that prevention is definitely better than cure. The visual representation of danger existing in various places like one's office, school, road, kitchen, laboratory, factory and warehouse makes the viewer cognizant, alert and subsequently confident of averting it.

The general opinion about such videos is that they tend towards extreme realism due to which at time they may be uncomfortable to watch. However, people who harbor such an opinion might well realize that the tragedies of life are equally realistic and that learning to overcome a bad situation or preventing it from aggravating further not only serves as a shield of self protection but as a form of assurance to others around as well.

It is always good to show a safety training video to your employees for better workplace safety. Click here to know more about safety training video
