Why Moving State Side Was A Great Relocation For Our Office

The reasons are I was deliriously happy and content in my current living situation.

We had an incredible home, the perfect family car and a joyous life that was certainly better than most people get to enjoy.

I wondered if I would miss having my family easily available and being able to see them any time it suited my schedule There were even small things to miss too such as scotch eggs with a pickled onion, the great fish and chips with mushy peas, the barber who I always gave a tip to when I visited and the school teachers that I greeted when picking up my children.

I couldn't use these little things though as excuses too much longer because though they will always have a special place in my heart and we had to move soon though to take advantage of the US office markets very favourable pricing. I got together with my family and told them the decision that I couldn't let my emotion or theirs hold back the business any further, to gain true expansion that we would have to move to the US.

... in a suburb like we were used to and got the children into a close-knit school that was understanding of their uncomfortable situation of leaving home for a different country and knew that they would require more assistance to assimilate. We made this choice together and made sure that they knew the reasons why.

I am delighted to say that everything went smoothly and it gives a great sense of pride to think that we pulled it off. I'm now going to tell you why moving to the US was great for us and some of my fave things about living here.

1) The food is absolutely amazing. Whilst I did say I thought I would miss traditional British dishes, I can honestly say that this is one of the best things to experience about the US. I go restaurants that are some of the best in the world and that don't come close to my experience of UK restaurants.

2) The offices are bigger and modern. We had a few viewings and decided on taking Columbus office space and we don't regret it. We now get to use key facilities all in one place such as rooms fully furnished, great desk space and a meeting room that always impress our clients.

3) You get treated better by people. Though we do have the novelty factor of being an English family with cute accents, the locals are incredibly friendly and can't do enough to help you. You will find that when you are shopping you get the special treatment regardless how much you are spending in the store.

That was just a small insight into the reasons why making the move to the USA has been a positive and now we enjoy more money than we thought possible.
