The Sony Ericsson K660i is a stylish web phone targeted at the youth. This great looking handset impresses with high quality imaging &media features, speedy internet connection possibilities as well as an attractive price tag. It is available in fashionable color options and has a solid candybar shape.

At first glace, the looks of the Sony Ericsson K660i gives it a certain stand-out quality. With a fairly average measurement of 104 x 47 x 15mm, it fits your pockets perfectly. And it is quite light, weighing only 95 grams. This phone comes in four striking colored casings such as Cyan on Black, Lime on White, Silver on Black and Wine on Black.

Sporting a 2-inch LCD screen with a 240 x 320-pixel resolution, this candybar phone can display 256K colors. The display does a decent job, especially when you browse web pages. The keyboard are rather comfortable to use. With nice spacing typing SMS is easy. The D-pad takes getting used to though. The phone has a 32 MB internal memory, which can be expanded via Memory ...
... Stick Micro (M2) card slot. Storing contact information in the Phonebook is just like always. You simply type in the name and the mobile number. If you want you can add the contact's email address, web address and his birthday. You can also add a picture there and assign a ring tone to that contact too.

The Sony Ericsson K660i comes with a 2.0 megapixel camera, but without autofocus and a LED flash. Shooting quality is just on the average compared with other higher end Sony Ericsson phones. And after taking a picture, you just need a few clicks to upload your picture to your blogsite and share it instantly with friends and family. This phone does video recordings as well. Videos will be recorded in MP4 format in a resolution of 320 x 240 at a rate of 15 frames per seconds. There's also a dedicated camera button on the side for switching on the camera and capturing images in landscape mode.

While it lacks the Walkman branding, it is still equipped with a decent enough music player that can support most common audio formats, such as M4A, MP3, AAC, AAC+, E-AAC+, WAV & WMA. The player can be used in both portrait and landscape mode, but you have to manually change the mode. But there is no 3.5mm jack past the microphone for you to switch over to your favorite headphones. It is a little disappointing. If you are bored with your music collection in the phone, there is also a built-in FM-radio tuner, so you can listen to the radio with a headset plugged in.

Since this is an internet focused 3G phone, it surely provides HSDPA speed at 3.6 Mbps, allowing you to have a wonderful web browsing experience. This phone is a quad band network phone which allows you to enjoy worldwide roaming. You can also connect this phone to other mobile device by using either a Bluetooth or a USB cabled connection for high speed data transfer.

The battery performs well, with up to 330 hours of standby time or up to 4.5 hours of talk time on a 3G network as well as 9 hours of that on a 3G network. The battery in the phone lasted for about 4 days of normal use, which is acceptable.

Overall, it's a well-equipped mid-range 3G enabled phone with a chic design and a great of user-friendly features. It is really a good phone, especially considering it combines a web-based applications, which are almost the main focus in today's web based fast paced lifestyle where everyone is constantly on the go and depend on web based applications for their daily schedules and routines.
