Enjoy The Tranquility Of Munich's Neuhausen- Nymphenburg

Neuhausen-Nymphenburg is easily one of Munich's most peaceful districts. Its tranquility in spite of the flock of visitors is amazing. I first visited Neuhausen-Nymphenburg when my company sent me there for a business meeting. I recall my first impression was that a better environment couldn't have been chosen. Getting into Munich wasn't difficult as I'd had the opportunity to compare cheap flights. Besides, there are so many airlines that to get airline tickets Munich is outstanding! Many airlines also have presence in the city and numerous flights come in from different parts of Europe and America. The city also has a great and renowned airport that would be a source of pride to any nation anywhere in the world.

Neuhausen-Nymphenburg boasts of four star hotels and I had no issues booking into the same one in which our meetings were scheduled to take place. At least, I could enjoy close proximity to the Central Station and Marienplatz. Of course, my business kept me tied down during the day ...
... throughout the time it lasted but I made sure that I visited some bars at night to relax. The Ysenegger was my first port of call and I had the pleasure of tasting a ‘true' Bloody Mary. I had to confess that it tasted differently and by that I mean ‘original' from all others I have tasted! The day we concluded our work, we decided to hang out together and we chose the Wasserman for that purpose. Their pork roast and schnitzels, I must say are second to none. The ambiance there is also great for get-togethers and really fun.

I had also made up my mind to stay a few days longer in order to enjoy the sights of Neuhausen-Nymphenburg. I started with the Pfarrkirche Herz Jesu, which has gained a reputation as one of Munich's most visited churches. This Roman-Catholic Church is modern in outlook considering that it was built in the late 1990s following the destruction of the former edifice by fire in 1994. The Schloss Nymphenburg today stands as Germany's biggest Baroque palace and the grounds of the palace provide visitors with a great relaxation spot. While on the grounds of the Schloss Nymphenburg, I also decided to see the Museum Mensch und Natur and participate in an exhibition. It was a nice experience for the value of the money.
As I wound up my visit, I wanted to make some memorabilia purchases. I started with the porcelain factory at Nymphenburg. Established to produce porcelain for the Royal family as far back as the 1700s, it still manufactures some very dainty porcelain pieces and I made a number of cute selections. It seems to me like a lot really happens on the grounds of this palace. I also went down to the substation at Rotkreuzplatz to shop at the Galeria-Kaufhof which happens to be a very decent departmental shop.

I wasn't about to leave Munich without satisfying my sweet tooth. The best spot for that again is at the Rotkreuzplatz. I fed my eyes of the wide variety of flavors available before making my choice at Sarcletti. Talk about eating your cake and having it! Yeah, Munich on my mind!
