In today's busy world of high tech and fierce competition companies are looking for ways to cut overhead. This includes looking at every angle of the business to see what can be streamlined to reduce unnecessary costs. One thing that has been found to be expensive is the recruitment of new employees. This is why many have turned to the use of Audio visual recruitment.

In using this method of recruitment a company is able to describe not only the position available but give an overall picture of what their goals are as well as their position in the marketplace. With today's economy there will often be many applicants and, if each must be interviewed separately, it takes a lot of personnel time to finally hire one person.

With the introduction of technology virtually every household has a computer and other means of communication such as a fax and printer. How simple, with this type of recruitment, to go on line and hear why type of job is available and what the requirements are. If qualified, a person then has a chance to respond.

Some job seekers are also taking advantage of this type of communication by making videos and listing their qualifications as well as the type of employment they are seeking. This is a great advantage for a company as they are able to see the person's face, hear their voice and review their credentials. In a very few minutes they are able to tell if this is the person they want for a face-to-face interview.
