If you are trying to teach preschoolers how to develop basic requisite skills then you need to pay attention to solid preschool lesson plans. Preschool lessons teach basic concepts to very young kids who have short attention span and are always curious. An effective lesson should be fun, easy and engage preschoolers in developmentally and age appropriate activities. Here's a rundown of the instruction you must follow before designing preschool lesson plans.

1.No two children are alike so it's important to consider your students carefully. For instance, you will notice in your class that some four-year-olds are already reading, while others cannot recognize all the alphabets yet. So, before designing preschool lesson plans keep in mind your students' skill levels also their learning style as some children learn by playing, some by seeing and others by doing.

2.Identify the objective i.e. what are the must-have -skills that preschoolers should learn? Basic reading, speaking, writing, listening, problem solving, motor, emotional and social skills that help the preschooler enter the world of formal education. ...
... But you can't design a preschool lesson that teaches several of these objectives at once. An effective preschool lesson must have a singular objective.

3.Choose a topic and narrow it down. Don't try to cover all the aspects in one class and also don't expect all the students to grasp everything at one go!

4.Find a variety of activities to achieve the objectives. Activities like sitting in a group, listening, discussing, singing, talking or doing hands-on work allow the kids to have fun as well as learn. And it's no secret that children learn well when they enjoy.

5.A typical preschool lesson consists of three parts. First part is - introducing the topic. You can do it with a question, story or may be a discussion. Then you let the students practice the lesson with the help of different activities like play, crafts, music and many more preschool activities. Finally, you want them to produce what they've learnt.

6.Estimate the time each activity will take and make a list of materials you will require for your lessons.
