Cutting plasma technique is used to cut steel and other metal materials of different thicknesses. In this process, a compressed air is blown out of a nozzle at the high speed. And, at the same time, an electrical arc is created through that gas busted from the nozzle to the surface, which is being cut. It can convert that gas into plasma. 1. Voltages & Currents

Here are few important precautions given to consider for cutting plasma.
1. Do not remove the ground cable while cutting the material.
2. While the cutting process is on, you should avoid retrieving a work object and waste. Leave them on the cutting bench with the ground cables attached to it.
3. Make sure you are not in touch with the wet surface during the cutting plasma process.
4. Insulated boots and gloves are extremely important to wear during the process, as it always keeps you safe from dangerous spatters.
