The most significant point to consider while applying for admission in international graduate schools is establishing the admissions requirements for the programs which the student wishes to apply. This is vital because the prospect may vary from program to program. In case the student is applying for a counseling psychology program, the requirement for this would be experience in the "people-helping" profession. In case the student is interested in pursuing an academic career through a graduate school, the admissions committee will be more interested in the student's publications.

* The student's Undergraduate GPA (especially in your major)
* GRE score results
* At least 3 Letters of Recommendation from former Teachers or Professors of the student
