One of the most important things to examine is whether the training curriculum is current.

Do not assume a course is modern simply because the words “SAP S/4HANA” appear in the course title.

Ask for the detailed syllabus.

Look at exactly which S/4HANA-specific concepts, processes and tools are included.

Depending on your module, these may include areas such as:

SAP Fiori

Business Partner

S/4HANA organizational structures

Updated master-data concepts

Simplified processes

S/4HANA-specific configuration

Integration scenarios

Relevant reporting

Migration concepts

Current business processes

For example, someone looking for SAP FICO training in Hyderabad should not only ask whether FI and CO transactions are taught.

They should also ask how the course addresses SAP S/4HANA Finance concepts and current finance business processes.

Likewise, SAP MM students should understand current procurement processes rather than memorizing only transaction codes.

Ask:

“Which parts of this syllabus are specifically related to SAP S/4HANA?”

A competent trainer should be able to explain this clearly.
