When comparing different demolition companies in Sydney there are some crucial factors that you should compare and check. This will help you to narrow down your search and select a service provider that meets your need and delivers as well. So, what are these red flags that you should watch out for? Let’s have a look:

There is no written timeline of the project. In other words, they have not mentioned the duration of the project. Will it take six months, a year or more time? Nothing is mentioned. If you don’t know the duration, how will you keep track of the work? What if the costs shoot up with the passage of time? You have a budget but when the final billing is done, you see that the cost is way more than what you are comfortable paying. What will you do then? So, before you sign the contract with the company offering residential demolition Sydney, you should ask them to mention the duration clearly in the contract. Don’t sign it if they refuse to include the clause.

Is ...
... the amount quoted by the service provider too low? If the estimated amount is too good to be true then it most definitely is. There will be hidden costs which they will go on adding as the project progress. So, make it a point that the service provider gives a clear breakdown of the total cost. They should also highlight which step requires how much money and so on.

Does the company offering the residential demolition Sydney has the necessary permits and licenses to execute the task? If you find that they are putting the onus on you i.e. you have to arrange for all these permits and licenses then steer clear of them. It is the task of the service provider and not the property owner. Let the experts arrange for it.

Is the service provider equipped to carry out the hazardous metal tests? Most of the older buildings have asbestos and other hazardous materials in them. When the building gets demolished, these hazardous items come in contact with the air and becomes all the more dangerous. However, if the service provider has the necessary tools and equipment to carry out the task and follows all the safety protocols and measures, you can go ahead and hire them. Otherwise, you should check out the other operators in the market.
