The goal is to help students develop interest in the language while improving their skills step by step.

The enrichment programme is especially suitable for preschool and primary school students. Lessons are built around activities that encourage children to speak, listen, read, and write in a natural and enjoyable way. Through stories, games, guided practice, and classroom interaction, students are able to learn Chinese without feeling pressured. This playful yet structured approach helps children stay focused, gain confidence, and absorb the language more effectively.

ZAS also supports children in developing important academic skills. The lessons help build vocabulary, improve Hanyu Pinyin, strengthen reading ability, and introduce early composition and oral communication skills. As ...
... children progress, they become more comfortable using Chinese in school and in everyday life. The programme is also aligned with the Singapore MOE syllabus, making it relevant for both enrichment and future school preparation.
