Full-Spectrum Solar Simulation:

Xenon arc lamps generate a continuous spectrum from ultraviolet to infrared, including visible light, closely approximating natural sunlight.

Optical filters (daylight or window glass) are used to change the output spectrum to fit a particular exposure situation – direct sunlight outdoors or sunlight through glass.

Fluorescent UV lamps, by contrast, emit a narrow band of UV and do not produce the visible and infrared components which also contribute to the degradation of many materials.

Precise Control of Irradiance:

The irradiance is continuously measured and automatically controlled by means of a closed loop control system to provide a consistent UV dose during the test.

Temperature, humidity and water spray are independently controlled and can be cycled in combination with UV exposure to simulate complex real world environments.
