What Are The Main Causes Of Obesity And Health Risks

Obesity is a medical condition in which fat accumulates in your body in excessive amounts, which can become a precursor to many other chronic and complex diseases and can adversely affect your physical and mental health, the quality of life and self-esteem.
For control and management of obesity, it is usually calculated in terms of Body Mass Index (BMI), which is a screening tool to measure body fat by calculating an individual’s weight-to-height ratio. If the individual’s BMI is 30 or higher, they’re classified as obese.
