Day 1: Delhi Sightseeing and Drive to Agra
Get ready for an unforgettable adventure as your 3-Day Golden Triangle Tour starts in Delhi with a friendly greeting at the airport, railway station, or your hotel by our professional driver. Your sightseeing adventure will kick off with a visit to India Gate, which is a National monument honoring soldiers who died in wars. Then, as you drive past the Presidential House (Rashtrapati Bhavan) and the Parliament House (two of India's largest government buildings), you will view some incredible architecture built by colonialists.
After that, proceed to Qutub Minar - which is not only a UNESCO World Heritage Site but also the tallest brick minaret in the world. Because of its magnificent Indo Islamic Architecture, this statue draws millions of tourists to Delhi every year. Your next destination is the serene Lotus Temple, which features a unique Lotus-shape and an extremely peaceful atmosphere. If time permits, experience the hustle and bustle of Old Delhi by taking a rickshaw ride through the busy market streets of Chandni Chowk. It is one of the oldest and most vibrant bazaars’ ...
... in India with tons of colorful shops offering everything from spices to precious metals and fabric to delicious street food. Once you've finished the sightseeing in Delhi, we'll start our journey to Agra using India's newest and fastest expressway - the Yamuna Expressway (3-4 hours). After arriving at your hotel in Agra you will have the chance to unwind.
Day 2: Agra Sightseeing and Drive to Jaipur via Fatehpur Sikri
Awaken early to experience one of the most remarkable sights on Earth – the sunrise at the Taj Mahal! Also known as the "Taj Mahal" (a tribute from Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan to his wife Mumtaz Mahal), the Taj Mahal is one of history's best examples of love and is included among the Seven Wonders of the World. The experience of watching the sun rise over the magnificent white marble monument will remain with you forever. After visiting the Taj Mahal, return to your hotel for breakfast. Then, proceed to visit Agra Fort, another UNESCO World Heritage Site. Built of red sandstone, this massive fort was the official residence of the Mughal emperors and features breathtaking views of the Taj Mahal from its ramparts.
Finally, continue your journey to Jaipur (the capital of Rajasthan). Along the way, visit Fatehpur Sikri, an ancient city founded by Mughal Emperor Akbar in the late 1500's. Once the capital of the Mughal Empire, it was overtaken by drought and abandoned before eventually becoming a well-preserved historical site. Visit iconic architecture such as the Buland Darwaza, Jama Masjid and Panch Mahal. After your tour of Fatehpur Sikri, depart for Jaipur, approximately 4 to 5 hour's drive from Fatehpur Sikri. Once you've arrived in Jaipur, check in to your hotel and enjoy a relaxing evening. Overnight at hotel in Jaipur.
Day 3: Jaipur Sightseeing and Return to Delhi
Your Jaipur sightseeing tour starts after breakfast. Start your tour at the incredible Amber Fort, which is built on a hilltop overlooking Maota Lake. The fort is an example of beautiful architectural design, large open-air courtyards, and royal halls. You have the opportunity of riding an elephant or taking a jeep to the entrance of the fort if you wish. Next, stop for a photo op at the Jal Mahal, a gorgeous royal palace located on Man Sagar Lake. Your next stop is to visit the Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds). The Hawa Mahal is a five-story structure that is built from pink sandstone. It gets its name from the honeycomb design of the windows built for the royal ladies to look out onto the street during festivals.
After the Hawa Mahal, head to the City Palace, the former residence of the king. The City Palace features beautiful courtyards as well as museums and a large display of royal items. Your next stop on your Jaipur sightseeing tour is Jantar Mantar, the Astronomical Observatory. It is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site and was built by Maharaja Jai Singh II. The Jantar Mantar is home to the world’s largest sundial and many other interesting astronomical instruments. At the end of the afternoon, explore the vibrant streets of Jaipur, where there will be various shops with a range of handcrafted items such as textiles, jewelry, carpets, and local Rajasthani merchandise, to choose from. After lunch, you will take a shuttle back to Delhi, which should take approximately 4 to 5 hours.
Your 3 Day 2 Night Golden Triangle Tour will end with you being dropped off at either Delhi Airport, Delhi Railway Station, or your hotel and will provide you with many fond memories from India.
