Lamipak Shines At The Gulfood Manufacturing 2024 As It Showcases Sustainable Packaging Solutions

At the heart of Lamipak’s showcase were two revolutionary products that drew significant attention: LamiPure and LamiSleeve.

The star attraction, LamiPure, introduces a game-changing approach to aseptic liquid packaging by substituting traditional aluminum foil with an alternative PE based barrier. This makes LamiPure easily recyclable compared to the standard aseptic cartons.

"LamiPure represents a significant leap forward in sustainable packaging," explained Kanchan Sharma, Lamipak Regional Marketing Head for ISU and Middle East & Africa Cluster. "Its enhanced recyclability aligns perfectly with the growing global push toward a circular economy."

LamiSleeve, on the other hand, represents Lamipak’s entry into sleeve-fed filling technology. This versatile solution caters to a broad spectrum of liquid products, including those containing particulates, offering unprecedented flexibility to manufacturers.

While commenting on this year’s Gulfood Manufacturing show, Karunesh Singh, ISU Cluster Head at Lamipak, highlighted the event’s significance to the food and beverage industry in the region.

“The 2024 Gulfood Manufacturing created a significant platform where global leaders in the food processing, packaging, and supply chain converged to exhibit and showcase the creative innovations in the industry,” said Singh.

“All the products on display provided extraordinary and futuristic solutions aimed at improving sustainability, efficiency, and safety within the food manufacturing sector,” Singh continued to observe.

Singh continued to note how Lamipak’s exhibition was the center of attraction at the event. “There was significant interest drawn to our stall. In particular, our debut products, LamiSleeve and LamiPure, captivated everyone’s attention because their innovation aligns with the growing demand in the Middle East for sustainable packaging and processing solutions,” he said.
