Dubai has gained a reputation as the place where dreams, ambitious dreams come true. It has a clutch of amazing projects such as the Dubai International Financial Center, Dubai Internet City, Jumeirah Beach Residence, Dubai Media City, and the Al Maktoum International Airport which will offer the opportunity to get cheap international airline flights. In addition, this ambitious emirate has again added another of such astonishing project, the Dubai Business Bay. It was planned as a Central Business District in the emirate and carved out of an area of the Dubai creek which was dredged and extended. The land area extends from Ras Al Khor to Sheikh Zayyad Road and is estimated to cover an area of 64 million square feet. The infrastructural development for the Dubai Business Bay was completed as of 2008 but the development of the structures will continue with the goal of completion between 2012 and 2015.

... incentives such as cheap flights to Dubai. It is estimated to cost the sum of $30 billion and expected to provide services and incentives similar to those available in Manhattan in New York and Ginza in Tokyo. Already the businesses trooping into Dubai is on the increase and the demand for accommodation and sufficient amenities to satisfy their needs is one of the main thrusts for this project. Thus, it will be furnished with facilities that include:
i. commercial
ii. residential
iii. mixed use
iv. public open space
v. utilities
vi. water bodies and
vii. creek edges
viii. proximity to airports and airlines offering cheap airfare

When fully completed, the Dubai Business Bay will accommodate about 300, 000 people which include employees of enterprises accommodated within the Dubai Business Bay as well as other personnel and residents. Encompassed within the project are some developments designed to provide facilities that will make the running of business much smoother for the enterprises operating within the project. These include:
i. Dubai Avenue: This is an area that has two levels of retail space both outdoor and indoor that accommodate shops, showrooms and boutiques as well as cafes and restaurants. Sporting facilities and children playgrounds within well landscaped areas also grace this avenue.
ii. Bay Square: This is envisaged as a pedestrian- only area. It is situated within the Business Bay and spread over 2.4 million square feet. The office space within this segment of the bay is estimated at 1.6 million square feet and will accommodate about 575 offices. It will also have sidewalks, canals, retail stores and cafes. The following are also the component units of the Bay Square; Bay Square Hotel, Bay Square Residential Building, Bay Square Office Building as well as Bay Square Commercial Building.
iii. The Executive Towers: This is situated within the Bay Square and consists of 12 towers along with ten towers and then a single commercial tower (Aspect Tower). All these building are connected by a podium which is three stories high to the Vision Tower which is located close to the Towers. Water-front terraces and Bay Avenue Shopping mall comprise the first two stories of the podium while the third is The Courtyard.
