Anyone performing construction work in New South Wales must hold a valid White Card. The nationally recognised unit is CPCWHS1001 – Prepare to work safely in the construction industry.

What the Course Covers

White Card training introduces workers to:

Workplace health and safety responsibilities

Identifying common construction hazards

Risk control measures

Incident reporting procedures

Who Needs a White Card?

The requirement applies to labourers, tradespeople, supervisors and others carrying out construction-related tasks.

Completing the Training

The course must be completed through a Registered Training Organisation. Upon successful completion, students receive a Statement of Attainment and can obtain their White Card in accordance with NSW requirements.

Holding a valid White Card is mandatory before commencing work on construction sites across NSW.
