Getting away? Planning for a visit? Or flying to get that long overdue work or job offer in Australia?

Then fret no more. There are so many things that the Australian government are requiring in terms of flying to their country for visit, study or even just for touring. In order to enter Australia, you must obtain the most significant item on their list, getting a valid Australian Visa.

First of all, identify which type of visa are you required to apply for. Remember that if you are a tourist, you can choose in between electronic travel authority (ETA) visa, of a visitor visa or a tourist visa. If you are visiting Australia for holidays, vacation, or if you just wanted to see your family and friends, then read the classes of visa options below:

ETA ( Visitor's visa) - this visa option is for people who has plans for entry to Australia and want to go to Australia for a holiday, tourism , recreation and informal study. In this option, you will have to pay at least $20 for a service charge but there is no visa application charge for it. Using Australian ETA visitor visa, you will be able to stay in Australia ...
... up to three months to each visit within the validity of the visa. ETA's are valid for up to 12 months from the date of grant. For your information, ETA is not designed to allow repeated or extended stays in Australia.

Tourist Visa - this visa option is for people who would like to visit Australia for a holiday or vacation as well, and it can also be used for other short-term non-work purposes including study for less than three months. All who are outside Australia and want to apply for a visa to visit Australia, and all who are in Australia and want to extend their stay as a visitor, are which this visa option applies for. The application cost will require you to pay for a visa application charge.

Sponsored Visa - This visa is for you if you want to visit your family in Australia or to holiday in Australia for reasons other than business or medical treatment. Using this visa option will allow people to travel to Australia to take a holiday or visit their family. There should be an eligible relative in Australia to sponsor their visit to Australia.
