An Instance Of Soil Stabilization Methods
Land development of real estate companies are great business ventures. Just a single deal in this field could cash out millions, or even billions. But engaging in this kind of industry requires property and environmental legalities before carrying out a plan, because land development projects involve humongous amount of money, large labor force, and inventory of machinery, and a definitely long time for the construction to be finished up.
Before a project can be laid into its foundation, several issues concerning the project location, construction materials to be used, and other aspects of property holding and construction of any establishments or edifices is taken into careful consideration. Landowners and developers must consult specialists in land surveying and infrastructure maintenance before starting the construction of the project.
During construction, concrete foundations and the soil beneath it take a considerable amount of wear and tear, constant battering and shuddering from machineries and construction equipment, and weakening through aging and moisture brought in by human cause. Soil stabilization ...
... methods remediate these issues using advanced technology to keep the entire construction working around the clock.
New soil stabilization methods are thoroughly studied and researched by experts in infrastructure maintenance. Developments in the research are then passed onto the soil stabilization consultants and have them performed on actual construction sites for testing purposes.
One of soil stabilization methods begins by boring small holes about five-eighths of an inch in a calculated pattern, depending on the weakest points of the sunken concrete. Small holes do not deteriorate the sunken foundation slab any further. As the slab lifting process starts, high-density expanding polyurethane is then injected under the slab into the soil in liquid form, expanding quickly up to twenty-five times its volume in liquid form, filling out voids and tapering loose soil.
Once the polymer expands to fill the nooks and crannies, and stabilize the soil, natural lifting force of the material allows a speedy and precise slab lifting procedure. The polyurethane completes expansion in less than fifteen minutes, giving operators accurate control to realign sunken concrete up to a tenth of an inch maximum displacement error, proving quality research on soil stabilization methods.
