Rugby World Cup 2027 Managing Director Chris Stanley said the venue selection reflected both Australia’s rugby heritage and its ambition to deliver a world-class event. He said each stadium had been chosen for its ability to provide modern facilities and vibrant atmospheres capable of showcasing the best of the sport.

These stadiums are more than just places to play, Stanley said. They are history stages, where passion and community come together to celebrate rugby’s global spirit. This announcement marks another exciting milestone on the journey to Australia 2027.

Its availability in October 2027 cannot be guaranteed because of an exclusivity clause in a multi-year agreement.
