1. Understanding the Link Between Food and Cancer
Cancer generally develops when abnormal cells grow uncontrollably. This process can be influenced by many factors, including genetics, environment, lifestyle habits, and dietary patterns. Some foods protect the body, while others increase inflammation, weaken immunity, or introduce harmful compounds.
A diet rich in whole foods—fruits, vegetables, whole grains, pulses, nuts, and seeds—supplies antioxidants, vitamins, minerals, and fiber. These nutrients strengthen the body’s defenses and reduce the chances of cellular damage that can lead to cancer.
