Traveling from Australia to India is a significant journey, one that promises a world of new sights, sounds, and experiences. We had always dreamed of exploring the Himalayas, but figuring out the details of such a journey felt like a massive task. Luckily, we found MWT, a travel company in Delhi that took our dream and turned it into a smooth, incredible reality. This is the story of our 5-day adventure through the stunning landscapes of Shimla and Manali, made perfect by MWT's thoughtful planning.

Our journey began the moment we landed at IGI Airport in Delhi. After a long flight, we were tired, but our worries quickly disappeared. A friendly representative from MWT was waiting for us, holding a sign with our names on it. It was a simple, welcoming gesture that made us feel looked after right away. The transfer to our hotel was effortless, and this excellent first impression set the stage for the rest of our trip.
The next morning, our real adventure began. We were introduced to our vehicle for the trip: a Maharaja seater Tempo Traveller on Rent in Delhi ...

If you've ever spent hours on the road, you know how important a comfortable ride is. This vehicle was a game-changer. The "Maharaja Seater" name was no exaggeration. The seats were spacious and comfortable, with plenty of legroom—a huge plus for the winding mountain roads ahead. With large, clean windows, the drive itself became part of the sightseeing. We weren't just being driven from one place to another; we were traveling in comfort, enjoying every moment of the journey.

MWT had designed a fantastic itinerary for us, covering two of Himachal Pradesh's most famous destinations: Shimla and Manali. As we drove out of Delhi and started climbing into the mountains, the scenery changed completely. The city noise faded, replaced by cool mountain air and views of dense pine forests. Our driver was more than just a driver; he was a true professional. He navigated the challenging roads with confidence and skill, which put us completely at ease. He was always on time, incredibly polite, and knew all the best spots for photos or a quick cup of chai. His local knowledge and friendly stories added a wonderful personal touch to our experience.

Our first stop was Shimla, the former summer capital of British India. The town has a unique charm, with its colonial-era architecture set against the backdrop of the Himalayas. We enjoyed walking along the famous Mall Road, a lively street with no cars, just people and shops. We visited the Viceregal Lodge, which offered a fascinating look into India's past. The views from The Ridge, looking out over the snow-covered peaks, were absolutely stunning. MWT’s plan gave us plenty of time to explore on our own, so we never felt rushed.

Next, we traveled from Shimla to Manali. The drive was one of the most beautiful parts of the trip, following the Beas River through lush valleys and past rushing waterfalls. Manali has a more relaxed, bohemian feel. It’s a hub for adventurers and travelers from all over the world. We visited the Hadimba Devi Temple, a unique wooden temple situated in a serene cedar forest. We also explored Old Manali, with its cool cafes and laid-back atmosphere. MWT had created a balanced itinerary that included the main sights but also gave us free time to just wander and soak it all in.

Throughout our five days, the best part was the complete peace of mind. We didn't have to worry about a single thing—not the route, not where to eat, not the schedule. MWT and our amazing driver took care of everything. This allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in the beauty of our surroundings. We could just sit back, relax, and watch the incredible landscapes of India pass by our window.

When our trip came to an end and our driver dropped us back in Delhi, we felt so grateful. MWT didn't just book a Maharaja seater Tempo Traveller in Delhi for us; they gave us a seamless and memorable experience. They understood what we needed as international travelers and delivered a trip that was safe, comfortable, and truly special.

For anyone from Australia or elsewhere considering a trip to India, we can't recommend MWT enough. They handle all the complexities of travel planning, allowing you to enjoy the adventure without worry. Our holiday in Shimla and Manali was a dream come true, and we owe a huge thank you to MWT for making it happen.
