Essential Oils That Make A Massage Therapy Even More Relaxing And Therapeutic
Every day our hectic schedules often leave us with low energy and lack of focus. In order to strive in a fast-paced world, it has thus become necessary to dedicate some hours of relaxation, where we can unwind and reflect more on our health.
A good way to achieve this is by seeking a wonderful Asian massage in Sydney. If you feel stressed or worked-up and get burdened too often, just get yourself a good massage therapy; and to achieve this, you will need essential oils to work for you.
Essential oils and massage go hand in hand. The role of these herbal extracts in offering maximum therapeutic benefits other than a relaxing feel, is certainly not to be overruled.
Essential oils are widely applied in Asian massage in Sydney. These oils help boost blood circulation in the body, while rejuvenating the mind and stimulating the senses. While essential oils are applied to the skin, they help release toxins from the body.
The essential oils used for a massage are as discussed in the following lines:
Lavender oil
...
... Lavender oil is derived from the extracts of Lavendula Augustifolia. It offers a refreshing feel with its subtle aroma. It smells like camphor and blends easily with clary, cedarwood, sage, pine, geranium and citrus oils.
Lavender oil when poured on in a diffuser, sends out an aroma that will help you get immediate relief from headache, tiredness and stress. During an Asian massage therapy, the therapist will use it in the diffuser to make their guest feel relaxed.
Bergamot essential oil
Another important extract from the fruit bergamot, this essential oil offers a fruity and sweetening aroma with its spicy undertone. It’s also used to release stress, anxiety, and depression. Also, skin problems can be cured with this oil. It has antiseptic properties to treat cuts and acne. Bergamot oil can be used in combination with coconut oil to seek relief from joint pain and headache.
Mandarin essential oil
It’s an extract derived from the rind of the fruit mandarin. It is sweet and subtle in its fragrance. Mandarin oil helps boost blood circulation and even adds to digestive abilities of an individual. Also, a massage with this oil helps people with sleep. Similarly, the oil is great for boosting tissue regeneration and effectively helps reduce scars.
Granium essential oil
It’s an extract derived from the stem as well as the leaves of the plant by a steam distillation process. Granium oil is extremely strong and has a floral aroma. It has antibacterial as well as anti-inflammatory properties for treating acne, wounds and various skin problems. It also helps reduce anxiety and stress.
These are some of the essential oils which are used during massage sessions.
