Organising Your Office Team Boosting Event To Unite Your Workers
This is one reason why you should include some team-boosting events into your corporate calendar so that they have the opportunity to be a cohesive and supportive working team. Developing stable staff relations is the key to a great office.
This article will lead you through great team building tips and if you have a read through and maybe try some yourself maybe your company will experience a growth in success thanks to stronger team bonds.
1) Let your staff know why you are bringing them together for a team building exercise. By not telling your staff the reasons for team building meetings they may start to worry, they may think you are conducting some sort of staff assessment or even restructuring. So make it clear to your employees that this is about drawing them together in order to improve the dynamic in the office. In doing so, they will know what to expect from the day and will hopefully open up and approach the task of getting to know co-workers with an open mind.

Let your staff know that the day is intended to be light-hearted and that they can let go and just have fun with the activities. Pick inclusive games that get the entire office working together. It is important to make each and every staff member feel included or your employees will feel short-changed by the exercises offered.

But don't forget that even managers need to get involved, the way you behave will set the tone for the behaviour of your staff and you want to demonstrate leadership as well as appearing approachable.
5) Allow plenty of time for your staff to give feedback and reflect on the activities. When the activity is over get your team together and have them go through some of the highlights of the day. Which activity was the most helpful in developing their team building skills? Who did they talk to? What did your staff learn upon reflection? Do your staff feel like they have achieved new working relationships as a result? Would they like to suggest any ways the day could be improved?
