When you know driving, you are no longer dependent on anyone, at least, as far as your movement is concerned. You don’t have to stand in the long queues to get into the bus, nor do you have to rush through the crowd to reach the metro station on time so that you don’t miss out the last metro. In fact, when you are partying the night away, you don’t have to worry about how to get back home and whether the ride will be safe or not. Driving is the answer to all these scenarios. With driving comes a sense of freedom, movement and flexibility which you will never experience if you don’t know driving.

But in a manual car, you need to start the engine, shift the gear and hit the accelerator and brake to start the car. there is a complete difference between the modes of learning. One who has learnt driving in a manual car can easily shift to an automatic one but it is not relevant vice-versa.
