Guest Count and Bed Layout
Start by confirming the exact number of adults, children and couples. Match beds to sleepers, not listing capacity. Aim for private rooms for couples, separate beds for singles and a bunk room only if it suits your group. Note how many beds are in each room to prevent late surprises.
Bathrooms and Morning Flow
Count bathrooms with the same care as bedrooms. A higher bath-to-guest ratio cuts delays before tours and events. Prioritize full bathrooms, but a half bath near common areas still helps. Ask about water pressure, hot water capacity and whether any baths are en-suite. Find Nashville vacation rentals for large groups with top amenities—book now!
Location and Transport Time
Choose a neighborhood that fits your plans. Map drive times to venues, museums and stadiums at typical traffic hours. Confirm parking for multiple vehicles and rideshare access for night returns. If quiet matters, prefer residential blocks and check local noise rules and quiet hours.

... Space to Gather and Eat
Large groups need real seating. Look for a dining table that fits everyone at once, plus a living room with enough sofas and chairs. An extra fridge, two dishwashers, or a second coffee maker can prevent bottlenecks. Outdoor patios or decks help groups spread out.
Costs, Fees and Rules
Compare total cost, not just nightly price. Read cleaning, service and local tax details. Check minimum stays around weekends and events. Review occupancy limits, visitor rules and quiet hours. If plans may shift, choose flexible cancellation and confirm deposit and refund timelines.
Safety, Access and Communication
Verify smoke and CO detectors, clear exits and lighting at entries. Ask about steps, handrails and bathroom access if anyone has mobility needs. Request a floor plan, bed list and parking plan in writing. Share arrival windows early, save check-in instructions offline and reconfirm details a week before arrival.
Verification Before Payment
Before you commit, match the listing photos to the bed list and floor plan and look for captions that identify each room. Scan recent reviews for noise, parking, Wi-Fi and response time. Confirm exterior entry cameras and smart-lock codes. Ask if paper goods, detergents and extra linens are included. Verify local permits and neighborhood rules that could affect your stay.
