For many drugs, the list of side-effects can go on for pages. Even the medications with the least side-effects still come with long and scary lists. However, there might be some confusion about exactly how common some of these are.
Side-effects are usually split into two lists: common and less common (or rare) side-effects. That seems clear enough, but the truth is that most people do not experience any side-effects while on certain medications. Others only experience one, and not very strongly. A third class of side-effects does exist. These are called Severe Side-effects; they should be taken very seriously. If you experience any of them, you should consult a physician immediately. With common side-effects, it is only necessary to talk to your doctor about them if they persist and are problematic in your life.
Common Side-Effects
