Stories about revenge have been there for centuries, and they are a part of each type of media that we consume. What I am trying to say is that Revenge books online are popular for a reason.
 
Obviously, revenge is wrong, but for many of us, reading revenge books is an act of self-care. There is something immensely cathartic and healing about terrible people getting their poetic justice.
 
While I am definitely not a vengeful person, but reading a great revenge story is highly satisfying!
 
And often, the more sinister, grim and cold-hearted the revenger, the better it is. Well, revenge is a dish that is best served cold, and this is surely true for me while looking for the best Fast paced thrillers.

As a revenge book, The Only Good Indians doesn’t hold back, with the terror unveiling through various perspectives, jumping back and forth in time.
 
While I love horror, I am not someone that gets specifically intimidated by books. Nonetheless, the relentless creeping dread of this book haunted my dreams and all the lonely corners of my house.

Yuko Moriguchi’s 4 year old daughter, Manami died in a tragic accident last year. Actually it was not an accident, and Moriguchi’s students were responsible for the death of Manami. And with Moriguchi knowing it, she will get her revenge.
Nonetheless, I should say that I truly hated how a particular ailment was initially used as a ploy in this narrative, and it almost made me put down the book. I am happy I kept going as it keeps getting better, but it surely reduced my overall enjoyment of the book.   
I have heard that Penance Kanae Minato’s other work available in English is also a great revenge book, and is told in a similar way. However, sadly, I have not yet got the opportunity to pick it up.
