... morning or with a hotel pickup in Entebbe/Kampala. The 3 Days Uganda luxury gorilla trekking tour continues with a transfer to Entebbe Airport where you will be boarding a domestic flight to Kihihi or Kisoro Airstrip which serve as entry points to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
Our guide will meet you at the landing site and escort you to your luxury lodge in Bwindi. The journey from Kihihi to the lodge lasts around 1.5 hours while the trip from Kisoro extends to about 2 hours.
You will have an opportunity to join an optional excursion where you may visit Batwa pygmies who used to live peacefully alongside gorillas as forest inhabitants. The visit will teach you about traditional hunting methods used by the people and their utilization of medicinal plants along with their cultural dance performances. You have the option to unwind at the lodge while embracing the peaceful atmosphere before starting your gorilla trekking adventure the next day.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

Here you will receive guidelines on gorilla trekking, safety precautions, and information about the specific gorilla family you will be tracking.
Equipped with trekking gear, packed lunch, and drinking water, you will venture into the thick rainforest, guided by expert trackers. The trek can take anywhere from 2 to 6 hours, depending on the movement of the gorillas. As you hike through the dense jungle, you may encounter other wildlife, including forest elephants, duikers, and various bird species.
Upon locating the gorilla family, you will spend a magical hour observing them in their natural habitat. Watch as they feed, groom, and play, a once in a lifetime experience that offers a deep connection to nature. After the trek, you will return to the park headquarters to receive your gorilla trekking certificate.
