We humans cannot survive without relationships. We, as social beings, need to build meaningful relationships to carry on with our lives. A positive relationship is the pillar of life.

Once you let go of a negative or toxic relationship, take a break, gather yourself, calm your nerves, and focus on building positive relationships with people who do not judge others. Actively look for like-minded people and befriend them.

Look for people with the same interests and purpose in life. For example, you can have a good friend from a dance class both of you attend. The dance will bind you and keep you bonded so that you can continue being friends and each other’s support forever.

Always keep people who inspire you to do new things and scale new heights in life close. They have a purpose and goal in life, and so will inspire you to achieve the same. Always be around warm people who are empathetic to understand that everybody is the same and respect the difference.

Do not be around narrow-minded people who always disrespect others and do not value diversity or talent in other people. Jealous people cannot make good friends because they will never give you good advice.

Stay away from the dominating lot. These include those who only think of themselves and are not considerate of others’ feelings.

A relationship is a synergic process. This is where two or more people are involved, and they have to make space for each other in their lives and adjust. Do not live with someone who does not understand the value of adjustment. Be positive, empathetic, and non-judgmental to maintain good relationships with people in life.
