Contract styles
If your preference is for Vodafone pay as you go mobile phones then you will be supplied with a pay as you go sim. There are various ...
... methods for topping up such as topping up directly from your bank account, by either sending a text, going online, or setting up a weekly top up. You can also top up at many cash machines or ATM machines, using your top up card. Alternatively, you can top up with a credit or debit card, online or over the phone. As an alternative to a credit card, you can use a swipe card, topping it up at one of many major retailers. The final method is the top up voucher, these can be bought from many stores and supermarkets and contain a 12 digit number that is used to activate credit on your phone.
If you prefer Vodafone pay monthly mobile phones, these can be bought from all major phone retailers. You will have to set up a monthly direct debit from a valid bank account, with funds being withdrawn automatically. You can choose from hundreds of different tariffs and deals, ranging from £5 a month to £70 a month depending on levels of use and your needs.
Additionally, these pay monthly deals provide free minutes and texts which often work out to be worth far more than the value of the monthly contract cost. For example, texts may cost 10p each, but you receive an unlimited allowance for £30 a month. Alternatively, calls may be 10p a minute, and you receive 1200 minutes a month for £30, where 1200 minutes should cost £120. These contracts have a minimum sign up of around 12-18 months.
Vodafone sim deals are essentially sim only deals that do not include a free phone. These deals are usually monthly rolling contracts, in the same style as a pay monthly contract, except they can be cancelled at any time. They are also usually cheaper than a monthly contract.
