The implementation of ISO 45001 on Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) requires a safe and compliant management system. Developing a review process to guide the implementation of ISO 45001 involves the following steps:

1. Top Management Commitment: It is a requirement that top management leads the implementation of ISO 45001. They should provide resources they should set clear safety objectives and integrate them with the organization's strategy. Establishing an OHS policy based on safety, legal compliance, and continuous improvement is of critical importance. Active management support and involvement are essential for creating an influential safety culture.

2. Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment: All operations should include identifying hazards and risks. This entails identifying the different potential hazards and defining the measures of control put in place engineering controls, administrative procedures, personal protective equipment (PPE), etc. Thorough assessments of risks allow them to be prioritized and set up effective controls.

3. Legal and Other Requirements: Organizations must identify ...
... the local, national, and international OHS legislation. Legal ISO 45001 requirements against industry standards and contractual obligations should be embedded in the OHS management system (OHSMS) which will be regularly reviewed for changing legislative frameworks.

4. OHSMS Planning: Clear planning is needed to achieve OHS objectives. The objectives identified should have action plans specifying roles and responsibilities with timelines and measurable performance indicators. Wherever applicable, the OHSMS should integrate with other management systems such as ISO 9001 (Quality) or ISO 14001 (Environmental), which permit using the common systems within the organization.

5. Support and Resources: It is also necessary to provide the training and resources needed. Training would include hazard identification, risk controls, and emergency procedures. Competence of the people put in OHS Management should be emphasized, as well as good communication about safety expectations.
6. Operational Control: There are operational controls that must be instituted for the effective management of large OHS risks by preventive and corrective actions taken to mitigate risks along with emergency preparedness plans, which should be subject to frequent test drills and training exercises.

7. Performance Monitoring and Evaluation: The use of KPIs and internal auditing is complete without a doubt in the continuous monitoring of ISO 45001 Checklist (OHS) performance at the plant. Management is supposed to review these results intermittently so that the entire system is not only checked for effectiveness but also for alignment with organizational strategic safety goals.

8. Incident Reporting and Investigation: A well-thought-out incident reporting system to keep track and even carry out investigations on accidents, near-misses, and incidents. Corrective action would ensue, guided by the results of root cause analysis to avoid similar future incidences.

9. Improvement Continuously: Continuous Improvement ISO international standard for occupational health and safety management systems (OHSMS) recognizes continuous improvement. The system was reviewed every time but with corrections received as attempting to refine the bad performance of the safety or health management system.

10. Employee Participation: It will enhance the effectiveness of the OHSMS by involving employees during hazard identification, risk assessment, and decision-making processes.

These are the steps of how a company implements the ISO 45001 Checklist for a safer workplace and compliance with safe standards.
