ILO Provider in Perth, WA
Experience ILO in Perth, WA—Where Your Choices Shape Your Home
Individualised Living Options, or ILO, are flexible living arrangements funded by the NDIS. ILO allows you to decide how and where you live, with the kind of support that works best for you. Unlike specialised disability \ accommodation, ILO is not about the house or building itself—it’s about tailoring the support to make your living arrangements truly yours. With ILO, you have the flexibility to choose the living arrangement that works best for you, whether that means living alone with support, co-residency with a host, or living with family or friends. Aastha Community Services works closely with you to understand your goals and develop a plan that makes your living arrangement comfortable and sustainable.

The ILO framework is divided into two primary stages:

Exploration and Design (Stage 1)
First stage focuses on exploring the participant’s living preferences. It involves working with support providers, family, and other informal networks to determine where the participant would like to live, ...
... who they want to live with, and what supports are necessary for their chosen living situation. A service proposal is developed during this stage, which outlines the participant’s support requirements and how they will be delivered.
Supports (Stage 2)
Second stage involves the actual implementation of these supports. At this point, the NDIS provides funding for the supports defined in the service proposal, ensuring that the participant’s living arrangement remains stable, flexible, and supportive of their needs. The supports in Stage 2 are monitored and adjusted as necessary, allowing for ongoing adaptability.
ILO is not a one-size-fits-all approach. The flexibility of ILO means that it can be tailored to suit different levels of support needs. For instance, participants who require minimal daily assistance might opt for an arrangement where they live with a host or housemates, whereas those needing more consistent support might design a package that includes more intensive personal care or drop-in support from professionals. Aastha Community Services can help you explore and decide on the best living option. Contact us today to start building the living arrangement that’s perfect for you. We are here to help you live independently with the support you need—on your own terms.
